CLOTH is developing a Heiskell Community Technology Center in partnership with Enterprise Community Partners in the ground floor of a newly renovated building on Amsterdam Avenue. The mission of the CLOTH Heiskell Community Technology Center will be to provide access to state-of-the-art computer technology and training to the residents of Southern Washington Heights. The presence of the Heiskell Community Technology Center in our neighborhood will give community members the opportunity to enhance their computer skills in order to access expanded employment opportunities and to enrich their lives. Community League of the Heights offers comprehensive after school programming for public school students in Washington Heights. CLOTH’s after school program operates five days a week throughout the duration of the school year. The Community Health Academy of the Heights, founded by CLOTH in partnership with the NYC Department of Education, offers a new opportunity for the young people of Washington Heights to achieve academic excellence
