The mission of CLOTH’s Housing Development Department is to preserve and develop the housing stock of Southern Washington Heights for low-income families. has developed over 1,000 units of housing (over $50,000,000 in construction contracts, including the Community Management Program) and owns 300 units of affordable housing (worth over $15,000,000). The majority of CLOTH’s housing portfolio has been developed with equity raised from Low Income Housing Tax Credits. All of CLOTH’s projects are marketed in accordance with HPD’s and HUD Fair Housing Guidelines.
