The CLOTH Summer Program operates during the 6 week school summer break. CLOTH Summer Program provides programming for ages 6 thru 12.5/grades 1st thru 5th grades. We are housed within The Duke Ellington School (PS 4), which provides the perfect setting to strengthen participants’ academic backgrounds. Beginning the first week of July and ending the second week of August, we provide a full array of programming from 8am until 4pm, Monday through Friday.
Our program consists of two components: Academic Instruction and Enrichment. Academic Instruction helps individualize the curriculum so that it focuses on the students’ weaknesses. Enrichment ranges from arts and crafts to recreational activities, including field trips and day trips. Our goal is to give students an opportunity to discover New York City in educational ways.
