Community League of the Heights (CLOTH), in partnership with NYS DHCR and NYC HPD, offers housing information and referral to tenants on topics including Section 8 Vouchers, Rental Assistance Programs, Home Energy Assistance Program, Senior Citizen Rent Increase Exemption program (SCRIE). CLOTH also provides counseling services including benefits counseling, financial counseling, legal counseling, and tax counseling. In addition, we provide free on-site referrals to family services for a wide range of problems, including domestic violence, mental-health care, homelessness, food, foster-care placement and substance abuse.
